Tourism Resumed - On Arrival Visa Recommenced

Major Updates: On arrival visa approved under these conditions: -

-COVID-19 Vaccination completed in last 14 days

- COVID-19 test; negative proof within 72 hours prior to arrival at Nepal

- Hotel Booking Certificate

- Travel certificate from registered travel agency

- Unvaccinated tourists must say in quarantine for minimum 10 days. They shall go on tour after the negative test obtained on completion of mandatory quarantine period.

Rhino Census 2021

Big News: Total number of Rhinos has increased in Nepal to 752 from 645 (2015 AD) as per the latest rhino census. There are 694 Rhinos in Chitwan , 3 in Parsa, 38 in Bardiya and 17 in Shuklaphanta. It means the number of Rhino has increased by 107 within last 6 years. Source: CNP

Covid-19 Update

New Case Alert: 332 new COVID-19 cases confirmed in Nepal. Now, total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Nepal reached to 279,100. Meanwhile, 79 COVID-19 patients have been recovered in last 24-hours in Nepal. After this total number of recovered cases has reached to 273,608 (which is 98% of total confirmed cases) in Nepal. 4,006 RT PCR done in last 24 hours in Nepal. COVID-19 Travel Update

Most business, stores and restaurants in Nepal have resumed the operations. The local jurisdictions have the right to conduct limited lockdown within the regions to contain the virus. Travellers can enter on showing the receipt of negative PCR test conducted within last 72 hours. The activities inside the Chitwan National Park and entire Nepal tours are also in operational.
